@ Senpai - Actually, the sparring was supposed to be a real life segment. This is why I got nervous when I wrote the headbutt scene since it seems OOC for Canon!Ichika. (I got part of that scene from a Shadow Draft for when Irish and Tatenashi sparred and it's more combat based due to the combat pragmatism Irish has).
Side note - Maybe it's because Shenlong is a multi level unit. She uses both shock waves (Which have a lot of recoil) and double sided saber which requires acrobatics. It'd make sense for her to have the smallest unit.
Side note 2 - I'm writing Shadow after finishing this Daydream arc. Can I ask for your help in reading out parts of it? Don't worry, it's not rom-com.
@ Jak - Be careful about using rape in backstories. Many people use it to try and get sympathy points for characters and it's become a bit stale to read. Though admittedly, male rape is rare and mostly unseen.
