The default "Official Mplayer SVN" version does not support multi-core cpus, so by default it will always try to do all decoding on 1 core, instead of using both.

Since 1080p playback is quite demanding, the FFmpeg-MT(for multi-threading, as in multi-core) version is required for smooth playback.
