There's also the fact that fans will often use the words "dead" or "die" to mean "going away permanently" or even just "going away" (that is, from the active protagonists and plot)
So in series where death itself is not enough to remove a person from the plot, "dying" can refer to whatever actually does remove them from the plot (like exorcism, maybe?)
And my post is completely ignoring the fact that with the exception of "being" dead, Yuuji doesn't suffer any ill effects for being so beyond being active inside Fusetsu. (And possibly being easier to eat? But I never found a good answer to that question....)
So I shall ask! Are there any examples of Torches or Mystes being 'eaten' by Tomogara?
