Ok, 2 things:
a) I was going for the spittle kind of rain, not a downpour. I did put dark clouds in earlier panels so hopefully it doesn't seem completely like a 'oooh, pretty and dramatic (not to mention cliche)' thing.
b) Does it work even if I don't put sound effects in like 'clatter' (panel where Laevatein drops) and 'thump' (where she falls to her knees) etc? I really suck at sound effects, unless they're meant to turn out amusing.
