It's about one big misunderstanding between the guy's mother and the girl he likes (Hiromi). Shit happens from that... and that's basically what the story is all about.

I wouldn't say the guy is annoying. I thought he acted reasonably considering the hand that he is dealt with, though I found Noe's motivations... crazy, to be frank. I really can't understand what goes on in that girl's head.
