There is a script out there that will convert a working, English-patched Umineko installation into a vnds-compatible package, but getting homebrew things (aka vnds) running on the DS is a little complicated. IIRC it involves buying some custom hardware and having an SD slot on your computer.
I haven't personally tried running
anything homebrew on the DS but I've heard of the vnds project, so if you're willing to do the research on how to get it running on an actual DS here's a link:
