Because I am a Nanoha and Fate fan. However, I don't really believe that Nanoha likes Fate or vice versa in that way. In my eyes, they're more like really best friends, or I think the term is platonic life partners.

It's certainly possible. I am fine with them being either friends or lovers. I don't really care either way. I just enjoy the dynamic they have to whichever end that meets.

Nanoha and Fate are mainly shipped because of how they act around each other. Not simply because one likes both Nanoha and Fate.
