Yeah, try watching Renji again in the first few episodes and you will see that he was on the way in becoming more evil character. But he still rocks now regardless, if only he had much better fights, together with Ishida who is not so very lucky as well.
I see that Hisagi and Matsumoto are leading at the moment. My favorite pair =)
