Also, I won't say that he was actually beaten since he is freaking Kaiki and I'm sure he had a few tricks up his sleeve. I think he just didn't bother since it was to much of a drag. That's the thing with Kaiki, he LIES ALL THE TIME, I mean it is almost impossible to analysis a character when you can't take any of his words to heart.

Well, it's not like Koyomi is stupid so he can see how a much younger and more innocent Hitagi could have a crush on someone who had promised to help her. Teenagers having crushes on adults isn't all the shocking anyway. Plus Kaiki is damned smart and charming when he sees a chance to get money. He saw no profit in trying to struggle with them so it was his lost. They also destroyed his phone.
