Noe cares about and wants to understand Shin. She already told him that she wants to help solve his problems together. She'll probably realize later that there is a place in Shin's heart that she can't reach that belongs to Hiromi. Despite Noe being happy to be going out with Shin, she will notice that he remains troubled by something. When she finds out that Hiromi is the one he has wanted all along and still does, she will perform the selfless act of breaking up with him. And since he still can't "fly" by himself, she will push him into "flying", the state where he feels that he can make his move on Hiromi. The very first scene of True Tears started with Shin wondering how he could wipe the tears from Hiromi and help her with the pain that he feels she must be holding inside. It's only fitting that he finally does so in the end, aided by the "angel"(Noe) he met along the way.

Don't really know how things will turn out exactly but that's what I imagine from all the events and clues in the first 7 episodes so far.

Well said! Cookies for you. The importance of the opening episode can never be stressed enough if the audience wants to develop an intuitive feelings toward the direction a series might take and how it might follow up. That's pretty much how I envision this series to end.

I thought Hiromi was the endowed one of the show, but I suppose I will need to refresh my memory by revisiting an episode.
