Vena: that's an interesting observation about Cayenne's vision. Makes a lot of sense, and one of those things that's designed to seem one way at the time and another way later on.
Spoiler for Original Series Question:
What was the deal with "spirit bodies" and/or projections in the original series?
I'm asking because a crack theory occurred to me. Crea or Suomi (they sound so similar to me when they're stressed...) makes a big deal out of the whole "spirit body (in English, even!)" thing when Donar blasts Mykage out of the command center. At the time it seemed something a bit unnecessary to explain...but then a wild crack theory appeared!
Perhaps Kagura's right, and Amata really isn't real, somehow. Like, say, he's just a (very solid) "spirit body"...which'd fit in well with some of that Mykage-Zen banter about true forms (or so I think, unless it went further over my head than I think it did).
So something along the lines of "Alisia gave birth to a child with golden hair and golden eyes (per Mykage)"...into whom someone important reincarnated. But, for whatever reason, part of the reincarnation split off and stayed behind (not "got left behind", "stayed behind"), leaving us with Amata over here on Vega and Kagura over there on Altair...Crack theory, but if you told me how Kagura would react when he finally got Mikono I'd have thought *you* were on crack.
Now, about Kagura-and-Mikono (spoiled due to episode 13 issues):
