My guess is that If by any chance Whitebeard dies here and leaves the crew to such unexperienced person like Ace (unexperienced for
yonkou level) Kaidou will annhiliate him before he can get out of the goddamn marineford.Shanks wont be always there to prevent him attacking the whiteys.Without Whitebeard's legend they will become easy prey for every other silver medalist out there.
