Well, let's look at it this way.
If it's going to be "The Blank of 7 Months", we'd probably get some basic idea of how things led up to the epilogue...
Probably how Yuuno met Vivio, Ginga's first meeting with Numbers, how Jail and co. are doing after 7 months, stuff on Zest's and Regius's death/burial/Auris, Megane waking up, Agito's first non-hostile meeting with the Wolkies, Vice making up with Ragna, and all that. Hayate? Whut?
Interesting stuff, but predictable.
Episode 27 has a larger and wider scope, but how it's going to go by is another question since for the newbies, it's a fresh new start but at the same time, it's not like we know THAT MUCH about how the aces go about their work lives other than the manga. Most likely they'll show actual depth to what each character are doing, but who knows? Though I hope they at least give a hint on how's Jail doing right now, and what were the traitor-tan's thoughts on giving in.
Besides, you may get Ion Canon support for ChronoFateTeana.
