It's pretty amazing how, week in week out, True Tears delivers human emotions in such a subtle, yet undeniably real manner. It's a fairly no-frills story being given a fairly no-frills treatment, but it focuses on its main hook, and does it pretty damned well. It's one of the few series I've never stopped wanting more of, one of those series I'd probably kill a day just to marathon if I'd missed it beforehand. Waiting for a new episode every week just doesn't do this story justice.
9/10. Blog article coming soon.
EDIT: In addition, all this "it's obvious Noe's the one, no, it has to be Hiromi, no it's Noe, it's Hiromi" reminds me way too much of the "Ayu's the one, no Nayuki's the one" back-and-forth back in the
Kanon (2006) days. Even worse, perhaps, since this time there's no "game vets" to add some gravitas to the back-and-forth with some informed justifications.
Me, I'm a Hiromi shipper, but I'm staying out of this Noe vs. Hiromi back-and-forth.
