An omnipotent and invincible entity can be what it wants, if it exists. It is just the image it provides that gives other a faith to believe in. It is not the name that we humans give to such an entity that makes it something unique (God, Allah, Shiva, Buddha, Haruhi, etc), but rather what we portray such a figure as in our minds.
Monotheistic or polytheistic, it just something the human mind wants to look up to, all in name of desire for perfection.
