Mmmhm. :/ Well, at least I'm invested enough in the characters (okay, mostly Ashiya and Maou) and Oosaka Ryouta to continue watching...
Spoiler
for
ep 4
:
The best parts of the show are still the ones that involve the demons. Ashiya's meltdown (I loved the scene of him scratching on the door in utter despair XDDD), being mistaken for struggling actors (for real or not - you don't make a mob character so easily identifiable without a reason), Mikity scaring Ashiya, etc. XDDD The rest was... okay, I guess? Boring, mostly, but at least the director seems to work hard to bring out the best from the material he has to work with, and he's good enough not to make the clichés too obnoxious. I hope we'll get some nice fight scenes next week. And I hope the romance angle will be toned down... (probably won't) And at least we got Emi's background out of the way, and got a rounder picture of Ente Isla.
Oh, and I really like the bgm that plays when Maou confronts Lucifer at the end. It's a really nice piece.
It's funny how much Shimono Hiro sounds like Takayama Minami every now and then... XD
