Really? Cause I personally thought Heaven's Feel was the best of the three routes, and I don't really see what's so unbelievable about the ending...
As for Fate Zero, Kiritsugu and Saber are important characters, but so are Irisviel, Waver, Kirei, etc etc etc. Can hardly call any them the 'main' characters, because the story isn't about them, its about everyone.
