I watched a random streaming ep that my friend linked me and the only thing I remember about it was a song that had the lyrics: "A Wish for the Stars"... it was a slow song sung by a female.

I kind of want to see more of the anime to judge it, but I don't remember it. It started with a B, I think.

I googled, "Anime wish for the stars" and looked up high rated anime starting with B and kind of got caught up on Baccano (and being disappointed with Bokurano).
