She might be the one who unintentionally push Kaoru to that future. So, for the sake of atonement, she decide to go back and change things. Somehow Phantom may turn to good side and befriend with children (espicially Kaoru) at some points, and it's not hard for the woman in this series to fall for Minamoto.
