Well, I don't mind the spoilers seen as I am still going to read it anyway. Thx LKK for the effort.
And holy spoilers they were

I’m not going to talk much about what happens to the trio during their travels. So you really ought to read the manga even though I’m going to tell you some spoilers. The information I’m giving is from volumes 1 through 8. (Volume 8 was recently released in English.) Keep in mind though that the series is 10 volumes long and still being serialized in Japan. So I don’t know everything yet. Furthermore, the mangaka is very good at misdirection. She’ll let you believe something for several volumes before revealing additional information that changes or contradicts what you think you knew. (I had that happen to me with a volume 8 revelation.) With those caveats in mind, on with the spoilers.
About the setting
What the anime told us: Technology is less advanced than our current level. Technology doesn’t seem much more advanced than the steam engine railways era. However, some evidence of more advanced technology such as Alzeid’s gun does exist.

This I actually did guess right. Just looking at Alzeid's gun was enough for some connection.

About Rahzel
What the anime told us: Rahzel’s real name is Rahzenshia Rose. She’s a magic user. She is the daughter of Fabien Rose. Her mother had a fatal illness and went mad waiting for death. She decided to kill Rahzenshia. In self-defense, Rahzenshia killed her mother with her magic. Fearful, Fabien took Rahzenshia and abandoned her in the forest, hoping she would die. While waiting for her death, Rahzenshia was approached by a red-haired man. Somehow, she ended up in the care of Serateed who adopted her. At that time, Rahzenshia changed her name to Rahzel. When Razhel was 14, Serateed kicked her out of the house telling her to travel the world.

About Alzeid
What the anime told us: Alzeid once served in the army with Baroqueheat. He is a magic user capable of flying and delivering explosive magic bursts. As a child, he was not allowed outside. He is looking for his father’s murderer whom he describes as a woman with black hair and blue eyes. His description of his vengeance quest: “I am looking for the woman who killed my father. That is the purpose of my journey. The man who was killed was in some ways my father, and in some ways myself. Thus, this is also revenge for myself.” [Episode 2, 05:20, Shinsen Subs]
What the anime didn’t say:
Spoiler:
Alzeid has an older brother whom he hasn’t seen in 10 years. In a flashback panel showing the boys, the brothers appear to be very close in age.
Alzeid’s magic powers are much more extensive than the anime indicates. In addition to floating and explosive magic bursts, he can create a defensive shield. He can heal physical injuries to himself or others in minutes. He can mind-control other people’s bodies, manipulating them like marionettes. He can teleport.
His childhood was very isolated. In addition to not being allowed outside, he saw very few other people. The woman with black hair and blue eyes was the first woman he met and the only one he saw on a regular basis. He never knew her name. He called her “woman”. Why he thinks she was his father’s murderer has not been revealed as of volume 8.
Alzeid’s father was a prisoner who was called “Second”.
Alzeid’s description of his father is more literal than metaphorical. Alzeid is a clone of his father. Alzeid does not consider himself to be a human. He thinks of himself as a monster. (If you’ve read my previous spoilers about the Larawell incident and the mysterious young man, you may remember that Alzeid had an encounter with the mysterious young man who spoke about the criminal gene theory. Knowing that Alzeid is a clone of a prisoner, presumably a criminal, you can understand why the idea that criminality has a genetic source and the fact that the young man might have known something about Alzeid’s origins thoroughly spooked Alzeid.)
Alzeid is not his real name. His real name, assuming he had another name, has not been revealed as of volume 8. "Alzeid" is a nickname given to his father. When he first met the black-haired, blue-eyed woman, she called Razhel's Alzeid by that nickname for reasons that he doesn’t know.

Spoiler:
Now this is interesting. Alzeid's magic potential seem so much more in the mange. The anime sure toned it down.
The woman part was explained more or less that he thinks the woman with black hair and blue eyes killed his father.
But then the cloning...that is a bombshell He probably found out from the woman.
Intersting point about his name. I wouldn't have guessed that it wasn't his real name if he ever had one. The mystery deepens.

About Baroqueheat
What the anime told us: Baroqueheat served in the army with Alzeid. He has a moth tattoo that can turn into a sword. He has an older brother who is Rahzel’s adopted father, Serateed, making her his adopted niece. Neither Rahzel nor Baroqueheat knew of this connection when they first met.
What the anime didn’t say:
Spoiler:
Serateed is not Baroqueheat’s only sibling. He also has 2 sisters and 1 more brother; all of them are older than him.
Neither Baroqueheat nor Serateed are human. Whether they are clones like Alzeid or genetically enhanced humans has not been revealed. Whether Heat’s other siblings are not human as well has not been revealed. Both have either stopped aging or age at an almost imperceptible rate. They expect to live beyond the normal human life span.
Serateed hates Alzeid because he uses the nickname given by a dearly beloved woman to her lover. He refuses to call Alzeid by that name.
The younger of Heat’s two sisters is named Branowen. She is a robotics expert. She hates Alzeid as well. However, she hates him because his face reminds her of his father’s, and she hates his father.
The older of Heat’s two sisters is named Natsume. She has black hair and blue eyes. Heat adores her. Natsume is the one who embedded the tattoo sword in his hand. He wanted something to remember her by when she’s dead and he must live without her. Natsume’s lover is Second, Alzeid’s father. Heat and his siblings believe that Second killed Natsume and then vanished with her body denying them the opportunity for a proper burial. For this reason, Heat and his siblings hate Second and hate Alzeid who reminds them so much of their beloved sister’s death. They do not believe that Second is dead. They think he is in hiding.
Heat and the others do not know that Alzeid believes Natsume is the one who killed Second and that she vanished after killing Second. The disagreement in the two sides’ version of the events has not been resolved as of volume 8. However, Heat knows just about everything else there is to know about Alzeid. He has been monitoring and reporting on Alzeid’s life on orders of a higher authority since before their army days. In short, Heat is spying on Alzeid and has been for quite a while.
Heat’s fourth sibling is Kiara. Unlike Heat, , and Branowen, Kiara does not adore Natsume. He's not fond of his other siblings either. He hates Heat in particular. Kiara is something of the black sheep of the family. He disappeared for several years, and it’s clear the siblings fear him to an extent. Kiara is the red-haired young man who took Rahzel from the forest and brought her to Serateed. He is the mysterious young man who spoke to Alzeid about the criminal gene theory during the manga version of the Larawell incident. He is the man who killed Fabien Rose.
Currently Kiara travels with a young albino boy whom Kiara calls “Alzeid”. The young boy despises being called that, but he doesn’t have any other name at the moment. The young boy is the one who killed the people of Rahzel’s original home village. He was supposed to kill Fabien Rose as well but somehow missed him in the massacre. Kiara’s Alzeid is Rahzel’s Alzeid’s older brother. Why Kiara’s Alzeid did not grow up like Rahzel’s Alzeid’s did has not been revealed as of volume 8.

Spoiler:
Now I could have never guessed that Heat had the biggest bombshell of all.
If they think that it was Alzeid's father who killed their sister who was the blue eyed black haired woman then wow...that is something. Talk about pointing fingers
Heat wasn't human I knew that but I didn't know that he doesn't age, or does so slowly.
I take it what you mean about Serateed hating the name "Alzeid" was because it is the same name of his father who killed his daughter (apparently). Interesting.
But the most interesting fact is knowing that mysterious young man is Heat's brother. Gah I should have guess that they held some sort of connection from the way Heat was talking to him at the end of ep 8. Though Heat probably has no idea about Kiara pulling some strings.
So I guess we still have no idea about his aim. I mean why does he want to cause such a mess? Revenge?
Now if that really is Alzeid's brother then...*head pains*
Great I am thinking

Well now, what do you think? Sounds much more complex than the anime ever hinted at, doesn’t it? Like I said at the beginning, I mostly stuck to what happened in the past before the series started. And as you can see, there’s still more to be uncovered about the past. As for the present, I haven’t mentioned too much of what happens to them during their travels. Don’t think you know all about their adventures from the anime though. The anime left out large crucial sections of their travels. Find the manga and read it to learn about those events, how they changed our trio, and how the past’s revelations affect their current relationships with each other.

Indeed. but I still love the anime. Just give us S2 already
