I think it's very telling that despite all the grief she gives Wild Tiger, when the chips are down he's the one she thinks can handle a crisis solo.
Also, Blue Rose objected to leaving Wild Tiger alone, but Wild Tiger told her not to worry, that he could handle it, and she should get going.
So I don't see how that can be described as "ditching" him.
