Spoiler:
Long story short. Eita and Hime confronted Masuzu about the fake-boyfriend deal. Masuzu was dead-set on keeping up the charade but Eita didn't. She told Eita she'd leak the thing if he didn't cooperate, but after seeing Hime being honest about herself and revealing her chuunibyou to everyone in school, Eita no longer cared about that and told her to do it. Masuzu kept saying she would and eventually both Eita and Hime left.
Later on Masuzu sent him that e-mail saying that the whole thing was over and that she'd give him back his black-history notebook. By this point, someone was in her house, she thought it was her mother but it was her father. She was unpleasantly surprised.
Eita was confused at this and tried to look for Masuzu the whole day, since she had been absent at classes and he still had no idea where she lived. People kept saying he looked terribly. Eventually Chiwa saw him and forced him to stay at home. She called Saeko. Eita was willing to go out and she kissed him. She then lectured him a bit, Saeko showed up and he decided to stay.
Saeko found a notebook and asked Eita if it was his. It was his black-history notebook, and he realised Masuzu was there right when Chiwa had kissed and the volume ends right there.
There was something about 2 notebooks, but I just glanced through the last pages. Once I read it properly, I'll make sense out of it, and correct anything I might have got wrong.
Anyhow, that's the gist of it.
