I'm not out of my busy period yet, but being the chronic procrastinator that I am, I ended up playing a bit of DI. Really just a bit, I've only managed up to the title screen

I'm guessing this "kemono" is a reference to the Christian "beast" mythos. And I'm getting a strong vibe of the karmic wheel of fate thingy going on.
Boy I can see the over-the-top-ness already just from the prologue. No chuuni work is complete without some reference to the world's myths, and we get several already.
