Yandere means they have a deredere 'face', but has a hidden crazy, psycho side. It fits Kaede perfectly.
While yes, her violent lashing out at Asa and Rin is an anime original, the character trait is still there.

I think its more that Kaede has yandere traits, but her deredere-ness is not only a facade.
