Seated on a round table, she’s accompanied by Kirin and a few of her classmates with their respective trays on the table.

“Yeah! I heard you went up against her during your enrollment, how did it go?”

“Well…” She recalls her duel against the instructor during her enrollment, which ended in her loss. “I didn’t fare so well, I guess… It was my first time piloting an IS. I barely lasted five minutes against her.”

*TOOM* Her classmates slam their palms on the table and leans towards her, apparently surprised by her words.

“FIVE minutes…?”

“Y-Yeah… L-Like I said, it was my first time using an IS let alone fighting with one.”

“But still, even our class rep didn’t last three minutes against her.”

“Class rep…?”

“Huang Lingyin. She’s also a Representative Candidate from China and is our class’ strongest pilot.”

Though I did say I'll be taking a hiatus, I never lifted my attention from Athena. I have a feeling that if I do, it'll sink again like before... One fic at a time, so to say.

Though that does not excuse bunnies from popping out all over my mind from time to time.

I don't know what'll happen if you pit Lingyin and Tsurugi against each other, but from what I can tell, it won't be pretty...
