Now, on less sarcastic mood, nationalism, populism, fundamentalism and other ideologies of conservatism are resurging world-wide, which is very alarming, much more than the nuclear deterrent era, where at least societies (of all three worlds) prospered (relatively speaking, considering their individual history) united under the fear of annihilation, which was less probable than now.
