And from watching this episode, it is safe to say that Goku can actually teleport instantly back to earth if he wants to, in order to stop Freeza and co from causing harm? Is this the actual history as in Trunks' timeline?
Instead, we have the first change in history by Trunks interfering and fighting Freeza instead....

That's one thing that got me curious. Was it really necessary for Trunks to intervene before Goku's arrival? I mean as Goku himself said, he could have just used Instant Transmission in order to defeat Frieza and King Cold. I would have loved to see Goku completely obliterate Frieza again
