It's *possible* that it could actually be a sequel to Heartcatch still. The toy flyers for the spring toy lineup still have Blossom and Marine in them (and other characters that are blacked out) and the pink and blue colors are still present in the stated theme colors. There's also Orange and Green. The Orange may or may not be Cure Sunshine, hard to tell because she's technically "gold" and that's hard to represent on paper. The flyers also explicitly state that the current heart seeds will continue to work in the new toys.
Heartcatch already has a bit of a music theme to it anyway. All of the existing attacks are music-based ([color] Forte Wave, Floral Power Fortissimo, Heartcatch Orchestra) already.
Then again, it could be something entirely new. We'll have to wait for the character designs to leak before we find out for sure.
