Kotetsu could be developing a secondary ability and its probably Magnetism or Electricity based. When he calls back home, after a half a day to a full day after, his daughter is having stuff stick to her. We don't know if Kotetsu's mother or brother have that power. She could have absorbed Kotetsu's second power.

Kotetsu then calls back and she seems to believe her power is absorption. Big clue... are there other NEXT nearby? When did she come in contact with a NEXT with electricity or magnetic powers? I guess they called a specialist after she showed her second power and they ran a test.

Does Kaede know her father has powers? She hasn't figured it out after showing her own?

I do believe Barnaby is an android. What may be seeing is him going rampant just like the android from Sky High's episode. The female android's rampancy was caused by sort of emotional trigger which fried her circuits.

Barnaby could be going rampant because of the uncertainty of his memory. Look at how his memories changed, like an image on a monitor... with the flicker of a CRT display. Totally electronic.

Clues have already been given as to Barnaby's true origin. My guess is that Maverick was trying to create the ultimate hero, Astro Boy. He was disillusioned by the fragility of Mr. Legend and so he decided to create the perfect hero programmed for justice and entertainment. But now his positronic brain is going haywire and its getting confused, he's on the doorstep of rampancy. He may not even be a full android, he could be a cyborg clone of Mr. Legend.

Once he breaks, his 100 power will no longer be artificially limited. He'd be unstoppable.

This is when Kotetsu may discover his secondary mutation, the Magneto powers or something else.
