As I mentioned before, iTunes
does sell anime. You can buy it per episode (usually with HD and SD options, with SD being cheaper), or you can buy a "season pass" (again with HD and SD options). It seems like they offer dubs, I don't know about subtitle options, and I also don't know how recent their stuff is. I checked and found
Angel Beats! on there, so it's not limited to the oldest series or the classics...
