As I stated previously, this isn't normally the kind of show I would watch. Yugiri is the only female character named so far, and the whole thing seems grittier than my usual fare. But because it's connected to ZKC, which I loved, I'll go ahead with it. That's twice Manglobe has taken on the task of continuing a project that Kawaguchi and Synergy SP started. Interesting.
There's no doubt Kyosuke is overpowered - the opening scene established that well enough - but I'm sure the show will give him some sort of limitation. And having a show that focuses on a group of anti-heroes, while not new, should provide an experience many franchises don't get. I'd be satisfied if one of the characters I enjoyed from the original series - Kaoru, Aoi, Shiho, Naomi, Double Face, Mio - made at least a cameo. I'm not sure how well they'd fit with the tone of espionage and suspense that this series is going for, but as a little bit of fanservice, it'd be nice.
