True very true about Oshiil, I really like the general atmosphere and feel to his movies, (at least GITS and Patlabor).
I saw GITS2 last night and I kept waiting for the "boat on the river set to music" scene, witch I think the "Chinese parade" fitted.
(Actually the movie was playing in town for 2 weeks and I didn't realize it, because I didn't think it would get shown here, so I wasn't really looking out for it.)
