But on this episode 2 Yorito and Matsuri have already gone much further than I was expecting, for one episode alone.
Since the "previous life" matter already came out, it's like they already known each other. (or perhaps, given than Yorito is a human, Matsuri may have known him in his previous life)

I think you kind of represent the stereotype of "wandering around in despair because Kanon is over" . And to put it bluntly I believe that sola is the closer show to Kanon airing at the moment. So yes, it would seem to be a safe bet for the cathegory.
