Whatever consoles those guys make, the two most important things are backward compatibility and reliability. That is what made the PS2 sell like hotcakes (and given so much attention by hardware and console hackers, of course). Backward compatibility is important because consoles are not upgradable and cannot run high-end game engines like computers, and developers have to make do with older builds and editions.
If it can't play the first Wii games, I think it shouldn't be worth buying. Besides, I wonder what
