Wow, are you serious? Hagu is supposed to be like, a genius. On the level of Morita. That's why they have a close bond.
Her art was featured in galleries and in magazines, etc.
And people can't do anything about how they look, that's stupid to say.
Her looking young isn't something that's seen as a good quality in the series.
