why, I think not...
Also, the way things are going, I doubt there will be a miraculous recovery for his ki center. It's more like he will gain some other skills to compensate (by eating that candy... sigh...). The author has been driving the point home that the ki center can't be restored, and I for one would be disappointed if that was just an act in order to make eventual restoration more dramatic, even if stranger things have happened in manga.
