aye, I avoided all the "god mode" and "overpower" mods like crazy... to me that's the same as a one screen button you press and it says "you win!!!! you 1337!!!" Derp....
I do use the
Deadly Archery mod because in my medieval archery experience - bows were horribly underpowered in the vanilla game. Besides the NPCs get the bonuses as well so be sure to duck.
I use a
mild crafting perk mod that re-aligns the smithing to better match the weaponry.
There's a spouse store mod I use (because I should be able to say "sell this, dear").
Other than that, the other mods are appearance changers (prettification, animations, sounds, or fashionable gear) or small things like aligning NPC and PC movement speeds (for those damned escort quests). I do let my mages use "
Ethereal Horse".
I experiment with weaponry and armor but most of it I chunk because its overpowered or suffers from clinical stupidity.
