They all were. They all had changed personalities. I've tried to forget so it wont ruin my experience, but if I really need the explanation, I might take a quick squzzy thu the episode.. From what I remember Hakuoro was made to look like those character you would find in an ecci herem. In the main series hes a strong, responsible character and quite serious. Big personalty change there. Kaurla in the OVA was made out to be a shit stirer, when Eruruu came up the ladder she hugged Hakuoro to attack Eruruus feelings she obvouslly knows about. In the main series Kaurla knows about the loving relationship between the two and respects it. She more of less only teases Eruruu about being in love directly to her. Not to cause jelously. Another personality change there. Touka, well I dont know how to explain that one, but shes different again.

Eruruu, she does get mad ever so often and its quite cute, but when she gets upset, she pretty much sulks to herself. To me in the OVA they were trying to make her Tsundere which is not her personality. She would of more or less sulked when Kaurla rattled her. Aruruu, well I dont know how to explain that one best either. She just isnt the same from the main series.

I dont know if I explained very well, but those are just some of the reasons

ima so critic because I <3 the cast alot. And to see them being degraded only just for fanservice is just......... sad sad sad.

Don't be an idiot. The OVA obviously takes place in mid-series, not after the main series.

They could of done something better if they wanted to do something mid way of the series.

If you want to criticize the OVA for "crap", why don't you start with those horrible and completely superfluous bath scenes? Or all the minutes wasted showing Karura quietly drinking sake when there's already not enough time to cover the entire arc!

Well I didnt know what to say about that. I do aggree that didnt have a place in the anime. It was like they wanted to add porn to the anime. Not the reason I watched Utawarerumono. but the degraded characters is what hurt it the most.
