Well he isn't a wuss more a twisted sex maniac  , i really didnt like this anime and would advise you NOT to watch it its terrible.
I really can't think of any male leads who really isn't a wuss i could only suggest Ai Yori Aoishi as he get with the main girl like real early but then has to kind of hide it because of curtain things its a really good anime.
