25 eps?? man im so confused.

from what I watched

the series ended in 24 eps. There was a episode 25 but

Then there was 26 the xmas special. Is this one suppose to take place before or after 1-25?? It's wierd if someone could explain it well i'd greatly appreciate it.

27 was the jungle episode.

do the OVa's follow a season 2?
