Omg you know what I just realize.... Shanks is strong WITHOUT a devil fruit because remember in the first chapter. He was in the ocean saving Luffy. I highly doubt he ate somedevil fruit something in the middle of the process of Luffy growing up.

But seriously I would really love to see Shanks fight. Anytime now...
