Yeah, looks like things got longer the more characters he added to each arc. Right now we've been dealing with just over a dozen characters, so this arc could wind up being as short as the Lullaby arc or as long as the Tower of Heaven arc.
Hiro really should plan his stories out more. It's because he went in not knowing how he wanted the whole arc to play out that the Nirvana, Sirius Island, and (probably) Grand Magic Games got as long as they did.
