NANA has lots of
kanji and gives
furigana.
Honey & Clover has lots of
kanji and
no furigana. As you say, I think it has to do with age and education of target audience, with NANA aimed at a broader audience covering younger teens to adults, and H&C mainly aimed at older teens and adults. Or something.
