Well, Baba states in most of his posts in that yaraon blog post that "Maeda is the core of Key". That said, I hope that this "push" to make the Angel Beats! VN would not affect the quality of his work.
Also, I wonder what would happen if Maeda finally leaves behind the task of writing Key scenarios to someone else...
