And if that Geass symbol stays there, Lelouch can't go to school anymore because his friends will see the symbol in his eye, or he'll be wearing an eye patch, as depicted by one of the 2-chan members.

well, I don't think they actually can see the Geass symbol. remember during the initial testing back in episode 3?

neither the teacher nor Kallen noticed the symbol when he tried to use it on them a second time. not sure why, but it is in the anime.
