Top 20 Anison Singles (Oricon, Week 31)
If last week was great, this week was better than that. Half of the Top 20 are new entries and starting this week I'm not including pure character singles which are not featured in the actual anime. It means that B'z and KREVA can stay another week, the former made a big gain from last week and the latter having a massive drop from its #2 position last week. Also, a non-anime single by seiyuu supergroup Sphere is at #8 at the Oricon Singles Chart.

Notes:
-- Pop duo, kasarinchu(#20) has the single released in 2 versions: a limited 'CD+DVD' version and a special “Usagi Drop“ anime version. The one that entered at #82 on Oricon is the limited 'CD+DVD' version.
-- Katate SIZE(#16) is composed of seiyuu legends Aya Hirano, Yui Horie & Ai Maeda. Small consolation for the controversy-plagued Hirano but the low chart placing does not bode well for the single.
-- LSP(#12) is a 3-member vocal unit for I've, a Japanese techno music production group famous for providing the sound of Black Lagoon, Please! franchise, Shana, Higurashi, Hayate, Nanatsuiro Drops & Index, so cool unabbreviated name isn't the only thing going for them in their 2nd single.
-- Choucho (#9) is a nicovideo user that does vocal covers of Vocaloid songs. This is her first foray into anime music, I think she has a great voice.
-- "Once"(#7) by seiyuu, Hitomi Harada ranks in the same position as her 2008 breakthrough "emotional flutter" (an ef OP) single in the Oricon Singles Chart, time will tell if this single will sell more.
-- With "BRAND NEW MELODY"'s(#6) inclusion, is Maji Love 1000% Idol the next Prince of Tennis when it comes to music single tie-ins and character singles? Well... it looks like it.
-- Chiaki Ishikawa(#5) has provided us with memorable anime music, first under See-Saw and then as a solo artist. This is a nice addition to her solo career though not as great as Uninstall or Prototype.
-- LM.C(#4) or Lovely-Mocochang.com in long-form is a visual kei band (its 2 members came from well-known bands) known for their Reborn! songs.
-- Idoling!!!(#2) is an idol group and for that it is a given that they would chart this high. Don't get me wrong, the song is "cute" but I just don't get the "feel" of it. I wish the prettier (and dare I say more talented) Korean female idol groups would venture in anime music.
--"Fight Together"(#1) is the legendary Namie Amuro's first anime song since 2003. She's probably in the Top 40 when you consider the most influential Japanese music artists in history.
