uh, i think it's kishi who deserves the credit for that, not hinata.
it's kishi who pulls the strings after all. he could've chosen to use any of the other characters but he chose her for obvious reasons, something that's been heavily speculated on for the past few chapters.
hey, kishi just drew a pretty nice cover art with sakura in it, not hinata but sakura! is that his way of saying "sorry" for ignoring her and making hinata more significant in this war so far? i'm guessing he's trying to appease the sakura fans for the last two chapters.
