Well, I'm part of the ignorant people who don't consider the game as canon then. I'll live with that.
Sorry if for plenty of us the game doesn't have much in common with what we concern to be the heart of the canon Geassverse. Aka,the anime.
So yeah, in this verse, it's crack. Just like all of the others pairings happening in the game. Like it or not, but don't call people ignorant for taking Canon as...canon.
