What the heck, a two parter? It was just starting to get really good when they seemed to cut the fight in half. Looks like Cure Sunshine isn't going to be a Shiny Luminous. She's fulfilling the same roles, with her defensive abilities and the power-up tambourine that we saw in the preview, but she's a strong physical fighter as well.

I did find it rather amusing that they went to commercial and straight into ads for Cure Sunshine related goods immediately after her transformation sequence. Talk about milking the cash cow. Pity they showed the tambourine in those ads though, you think they could've held off on that for after the preview or something, since it didn't appear in the transformation sequence or in the main episode itself at all.

Actually, the Shiny Tambourine isn't actually an enhancement gadget, it's Sunshine's weapon and it works like the Flower Tact in the sense that it is useful for beamspamming and finishing attacks/purification.
