Try User CP, then Edit Avatar, select Use Custom Avatar, and paste it into the box under Option 1.
Well... please reply with "I don't want to use it" if you don't. I had to cut up on a lot of frames (in-between and in the beginning) and color to fit the 50KB size limit so it ended up to be rather horrible.  I don't think it's possible to make a decent quality one for that scene that's under 50KB but I'm pretty much a noob so...
